The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF) provides a practical foundation for employees working in any sector.
Learners explore the difference between hazards and risks, the responsibilities of employers and employees, common workplace hazards and the importance of following safe systems, information and training.
The course is designed to support induction, awareness and a positive safety culture. It should sit alongside the organisation’s own risk assessments, policies, procedures and role-specific instruction.
