Course description

Who should attend?

Over a half day period, successful learners will gain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: managing a casualty with anaphylaxis, CPR, common anaphylaxis triggers, signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, treatment and more. 

Candidates need a basic command of English (defined as Level 2). While we are often able to provide support to people who do not have English as a first language, our ability to do so is limited by the time available and the number of people who require assistance. We may be able to make special arrangements if requested in advance. Please contact us if you need any guidance.

How long is the Anaphylaxis First Aid course? 

It’s face to face learning (Our Fave!)

This course is half a day in the classroom.

Defibrillators and safe use (we use real AED training devices, not theory and laminates! 👀)

Continuous observation by the trainer

Certification

Successful candidates receive a nationally recognised, Ofqual accredited Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF) certificate, valid for one year.
