Health and Safety Training in the Workplace – Level 1 – Half Day

This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides learners with a basic introduction to health and safety in the workplace, including the role that everyone plays in maintaining a safe working environment.

Course description

During this half day course, learners will develop a basic knowledge of health & safety issues such as: hazards and risks in the workplace, workplace conditions that can affect health and safety, and the requirements for workplace procedures.

Who should attend?

The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF) has been designed for all employees working in any workplace, to help raise their awareness of H&S in the workplace.

Candidates need a basic command of English (defined as Level 2). While we are often able to provide support to people who do not have English as a first language, our ability to do so is limited by the time available and the number of people who require assistance. We may be able to make special arrangements if requested in advance. Please contact us if you need any guidance.
